Event Schedule

  • with HVWiB’s Founder, Lauree Ostrofsky

The day will open with a welcome that grounds the retreat in the values of Hudson Valley Women in Business - community, integrity, and doing business differently.

This opening sets the tone for a day designed to support women as leaders and whole people, and invites attendees to arrive fully, connect, and engage with intention.

  • with Amy Novatt, Tylene Lizardi, Katie Nasherson. Moderated by Laura Pensiero

(Women’s Health, Wellbeing & Supporting the Whole Self)

This panel brings together voices from women’s physical health, mental health, and clinical care to explore the realities women face and the conversations that often go unspoken.

Through an honest, accessible discussion, panelists will examine how physical wellbeing, mental health, and emotional load intersect with leadership, daily life, and long-term health. Rather than offering quick fixes, this conversation centers on awareness, support, and the importance of caring for the whole woman.

Attendees will leave with greater understanding, reassurance that they are not alone, and practical insight into how prioritizing wellbeing strengthens every area of life.

  • Led by Melissa Scheibner

    (Guided Movement)

This Soul Spa session invites participants to reconnect with their bodies through gentle, intentional movement. Designed as a reset rather than a performance, the session creates space to release tension, shift stagnant energy, and return to the day feeling more present and grounded.

Participants are encouraged to move in ways that feel supportive and accessible, honoring where they are in the moment. This experience complements the day’s conversations by reminding us that clarity, resilience, and leadership are supported through embodiment and awareness.

No prior movement experience is needed, just a willingness to show up as you are.

  • with Lucia LaSpada, Kimberly Sevilla, and Lizzette Muniz, moderated by Allison Prouty

(Leadership, Business & Navigating the Many Roles Women Hold)

Women lead in many spaces at once - professionally, personally, and within their communities. This panel explores what it really takes to build, lead, and sustain meaningful work while carrying the often-invisible responsibilities that come with it.

Panelists from law, trades, branding, and entrepreneurship will share real-world perspectives on visibility, decision-making, future planning, and navigating the mental load that accompanies leadership. This is not about perfection or hustle culture, but about building systems, boundaries, and strategies that support longevity.

This conversation is designed to validate lived experience while offering grounded insight for women who are leading in their own way.

  • With Jill Bluming

    (Guided Grounding & Reflection)

This Soul Spa session offers a shared moment to arrive fully and ground together, not as an escape, but as a practical strategy for moving forward with clarity.

Participants will begin by briefly sharing where they are in the moment, followed by a guided grounding meditation that helps settle the nervous system, acknowledge what’s present, and create space for focus and empowerment. The session is intentionally organic, responding to the energy in the room while holding a supportive container for reflection and connection.

Bring a warm cup of tea or matcha, get comfortable, and take a moment to ground alongside others who understand the demands of leadership and life.

  • Founder and Executive Director of Sparrow’s Nest Charity

Drawing from deep community work and lived experience, Krista will share insights on showing up with intention, supporting others through uncertainty, and leading in ways that are both strong and human. This talk centers on impact over recognition and reminds us that meaningful leadership is rooted in care, connection, and purpose.

The keynote will anchor the afternoon, tying together the themes of wellbeing, leadership, and community that run throughout the day.

The schedule above includes ample break time between sessions. Please note that the Soul Spa has limited space.

Food and beverages are available to purchase at the Greenspan Cafeteria, offering a variety of options.

As our Welcome Speaker, Lauree will open the retreat by reconnecting us to the heart of this community.
